Amanda Bice

Amanda Jo Bice, 50 year old resident of Grove, Oklahoma, passed away on November 15, 2020 in Joplin, Missouri.

Amanda was born on March 10, 1970 in Jay, Oklahoma.  She was the loving daughter of Bill and JoAnn (Downing) Tanner.  Amanda was a graduate of Grove High School.  She worked at a supervisor for Simmons Industries until her health declined.  Amanda enjoyed working word searches and her Diet Mt. Dew.

Amanda was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her daughter Vanessa Hernandez, her sister Paula Prins and husband Randy, her brother Taylor Tanner, her nephew Todd Prins and wife Kaylee, her niece Missy Skaggs and husband Justin all of Grove, Oklahoma.  Amanda will be dearly missed by numerous extended family members and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7 PM, Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma.  Services are scheduled for 2PM, Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the Church of Christ with Pastor Ryan officiating.  Amanda will be laid to rest in the Zena Cemetery.  Honoring Amanda’s life serving as casket bearers will be; Terry Tanner, Dan Whitcomb, Larry Owens, Roger Tanner, Todd Prins and Taylor Tanner.
