Alvin Warden

Alvin T. Warden "Sam" was born on April 15, 1915 and passed away on May 6, 2010 in Grove, Oklahoma. He was the son of Harry C. and Era L. (Richie) Warden. Alvin graduated from Inola High school and worked as a mechanic for American Airlines. Mr. Warden is survived by his daughter Cheryle Brown and her husband Larry of Grove, two grandchildren Cole Stephens and his wife Angie of Aledo, Texas, Kaycee Higgins and her husband John of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and six great-grandchildren, one brother Kelly Warden and his wife Mary of Tucson, Arizona, two sisters Colleen Strickland of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Barbara Scott of Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Hayhurst Funeral Home in Broken Arrow. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 10, 2010 at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow.
