Alliene Berry

Alliene E. Berry, age 83 passed away Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Grove Nursing Center, Grove, Oklahoma. She was born on April 21, 1926 in Jay, Oklahoma to Tom and Bertha (Harris) Gibe. Alliene moved to Jay in 1994 from Miami. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ, Jay. Alliene is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Louis Barnhart and Walter Berry and a son, Delbert Barnhart, along with her brothers, Lloyd, Bob and Kenneth Gibe. She is survived by her son Ron Barnhart of Grove, three brothers, Claud and David Gibe of Jay, OK and Don Gibe of Grove, OK, two sisters, Lola Williamson of St. Charles, Missouri and Bonnie Henson of Jay, OK, two grandchildren, Brad and his wife Rachel Barnhart of Broken Arrow, OK and Matt Barnhart of Stillwater, OK. Mrs. Berry is also survived by many other relatives and friends. A Funeral Service will be held at Southside Church of Christ, Jay, at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2009. Brother Steve Stenzel officiating. Interment will follow at Indianola Cemetery, Jay, under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Jay.
