Allen Powell

Allen Dee Powell, Sr. Vinita resident passed away at Harris Methodist HEB Hospital in Bedford, TX on Friday, June 30, 2006. Mr. Powell was born on October 9, 1933 in Pedernal, NM to Lee Allen and Beatrice Taylor Powell. One June 21, 1958 he married his wife Sandra Sue Jarvis. Allen worked for Northrup Drummond (Vought) until his retirement in 2000. He is preceded in death by his parents Lee Allen and Beatrice Powell and a sister Leona Mae Lambert. Survivors include his wife Sandra Sue Jarvis Powell of the home, three children; Lee Bailey Powell, Melnye Lillian Powell Stone, Allen Dee Powell Jr., six grandchildren Heidi Marie Powell, Adam Lee Powell, Courtney Nichole Powell, Shelbey Lynn Powell, Kelly Ann Powell and Allen Drew Powell along with two sisters Marjorie White, Margueritte White and his twin brother, Alvin Lee Powell. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM on Friday, July 7, 2006 at the First United Methodist Church in Cleora, OK.
