Allen James "Sonny" Daugherty Jay, Oklahoma Allen James "Sonny" Daugherty, age 79 died Saturday, April 14, 2007 in Jay, OK. He was born on September 2, 1927 in Jay, OK. Sonny was a man who loved his church. He was described as a quiet, gentle, honest man. Sonny was known for hosting marbles tournaments. Sonny was preceded in death by three sisters; Mary Daugherty (infant), Minnie Feathers and Allie Jane Daugherty, and three brothers; Claude Daugherty, Sr., William Daugherty and Charles Kurt Daugherty. Survivors include: Two Sisters: Wallora Kingfisher of Jay, OK and Ella Shambaugh of Jay, OK. Seventeen nieces and nephews Twenty-two great nieces and great nephews Nineteen great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Sonny's funeral service will take place at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at the Piney Baptist Church in Jay. Johnny Gonzales will officiate. Interment will be at O'Field Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday. The services are under the directions of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, OK.
